This is my pinch pot I made today in class. It took me two tries to make this final pinch pot, the other one I didn't get to take a picture of.

Form is a 3-D version of shape.

This class I tried to make another round belly pinch pot, it did not work out and I did not get the chance to take a picture of it before I put it back. I need to work on that kind of pinch pot.

Last class I did another small pinch pot so I can have some extra to see how I am improving and what I need to fix.and the bottom picture is of my three pinch pots that came out of the kiln.

February 24th


Today we tried throwing on the wheel. We paired up with partners after the quick lesson. Ashely and I went to the pottery wheel and took turns. When it came to be my turn i had no idea what to expect. I was not that good and coneing and it was very hard to keep it centered. I didn't end up keeping it because it didn't turn out good , but at least I got some practice with it.

February 26th

Today it wasn't my turn on the wheel so u worked on the body of my clay animal. I am making an owl and I luckly got to finish the body of it . I did one big circle for the body and a mini one more the head and attached it very well.

Today on March 17th I finished my owl. Here is a picture of it






March 19th I trimmed two bowls and threw one new one.





March 23rd I glazed 3 of my pinch pots.

March 24th-
Today I was home sick so I could not participate in ceramics class.

March 27th-
I got my scrafitto bowl back and regular bowl back. I glazed them both clear and glazed another plain one a blue green color.

March 31st-

I glazed two pinch pots from earlier this semester. I did one tourmaline and midnight blue and then the other I did a really cool blue. I stayed after school today to make a cup on the wheel to put a Handel on as well because my other one dried out.

April 2nd- 

Today I got back two glazed pinch pots and two glazed bowl I threw on the wheel. I was pleased with the way they turned out. I also trimmed and added a Handel onto my cup.
